USS Renshaw DD/DDE-499[Posted July 1, 2010] Letters to all shipmates of record have been mailed through the postal service and should have been received by now. The packet includes a letter from Jim Giddings (Treasurer) explaining all details of the 2010 Renshaw Reunion. It also includes complete information on the planned tours and how to order hats and shirts. The packet includes a sign-up form to be completed and returned to Jim. The deadlines for all actions are clearly stated. These details will not be repeated here. We try to keep the postal mailing address list up to date and as accurate as possible, but sometimes things change and we are not informed.

The deadline for submitting the attendance sign-up form and payment is 45 days before the reunion starts. (That is August 6, 2010.) Hotel reservations should be made as early as possible, but no later than August 30, 2010.

Basic Tour Information
Wednesday 22
We start at the Oak Alley Plantation and then lunch there. Then back to New Orleans for a Tour of the French quarter, Jackson Square, Lake Pontchartrain. Also the cemeteries and a tour of the ninth ward.
Thursday 23
We will be at the National World War ll Museum. Lunch there also.
